Home buyers protest for delayed flats against Universal Aura in Gurugram.

Home buyers of universal buildwell’s aura project on Tuesday protested against the builder for delay in giving possession of flats. The project was launched in 2010 with approx 600 units in 11 towers and builder promised to deliver the flats till 2014 but failed to do so.

Around 50 people gathered at the DTCP office in sector 14 Gurugram with lots of banners and shouting slogans against the universal buildwell private limited, protestors claimed that they have already paid around 80% of payment to the builder but they didn’t get possession till yet.

The Universal Aura project was launched in 2010. Spread over 11 acres, it is likely to have 596 units across 11 towers, each costing between Rs 53 lakh and Rs 1 crore.  The developer had promised to complete it by 2014. But till date, only 50% of the work has been completed.

Buyers alleged work at the site had stopped around two years ago, and the developer had stopped responding to queries.  With no progress at the site, we’re unsure when we’ll get possession,” said Dhiraj Kumar, a homebuyer

Buyer’s association general secretary Naveen Arora said: “Licence for the project expired in June 2015, and was not renewed, which is a must to restart construction.”

Pooja Sharma, legal head of Universal Buildwell, refuted the allegations, holding the buyers responsible for the delay instead. “Buyers formed an association to put unnecessary pressure on the developer, and even filed a complaint with the national consumer forum, which caused delay,” she said. “We’re ready to pay the delay penalty (at Rs 15/sq ft per month) at the time of handing over possession.”

प्रशासन द्वारा की जा रही इस अनदेखी को सरकार पर पूंजीपतियों  का दबाव समझा जाये या फिर उनकी लापरवाही क्योकि अनिल शर्मा पर अब तक की गई कार्यवाहियों का कोई असर दिख नहीं रहा है और जनता इस बात से भी अनजान है की अनिल शर्मा इस समय भारत में है या फिर विजय माल्या और ललित मोदी की तरह देश से फरार हो चूका है |

रियल्टी मीडिया की Amrapali ग्रुप के खिलाफ की गई इस पहल और बुलंद आवाज़ से आज कल चुनावी माहोल में नेताओं को नया मुदा मिल गया है सपा के मंत्री रविदास मेहरोत्रा अपने एक बयान में अनिल शर्मा क देश से फरार होने का कयास लगा चुके है | पर कई हज़ार करोड़ का ये घोटाला सिर्फ एक चुनावी मुदा बनकर ना रह जाये इसके लिए रियल्टी मीडिया अपनी मुहीम पर अटल रहेगा |

अब देखना यह है की क्या सरकार अनिल शर्मा और Amrapali ग्रुप पर जल्द कोई ठोस करवाई करेगी या फिर इससे भी फरार होने का पूरा वक़्त दिया जायेगा।
