New Delhi: Realty developers are happy with the decision of the government to setup an international airport at Jewar in Greater Noida. Developers believe that the airport will increase the economic activity in that area. Jewar will be an International airport which will be completed in the next 5 to 6 years as announced by the government on Saturday. CREDAI Chairman Getamber Anand has stated that this is a good decision by the government which will eventually benefit the real estate market in Noida and Greater Noida.
Anand also said that the airport will also benefit the properties in Yamuna expressway area. Real estate market is facing a downfall and thus there is delay in completion of many projects. Parveen Jain, NAREDCO President has said that Jewar airport will develop the area near Noida and Greater Noida and will witness more investment from the buyers.
